This single is inspired by seeing someone having a hard time and offering to shield and protect them.

Layer You Up is a stunning piece of alt-pop, filled with cinematic texture and delicate pop production akin to the likes of Billie Eilish and her softer records; Lead singer Sigrid’s delicate, warm vocal compliments the musicality perfectly, offering a closeness and comfort in the soundscape.
